| 270531 | 2004-09-09 04:42:00 | Actually I was about to delete this second version of the thread when Pillar made the 3rd post of his new identity - and after 2 stirring posts out of 3, I just wondered who Pillar was. I guess Pillar doesn't want to tell me. I am so surprised. | Biggles (121) | ||
| 270532 | 2004-09-09 04:49:00 | "Spelling, incipient = initial stage. In your case latent may be more appropriate." Hmm curious, it seems there are two spellings of the same word. dictionary.reference.com dictionary.reference.com I was meaning the second one? Really, is this how you treat new users around here? Start hounding new people about usernames they use. What the ....? I've been lurking about here for a while and was about to post a question asking about UPSs before I saw yet another SP2 thread, now I don't think I'll bother. This place blows. |

| 270533 | 2004-09-09 04:59:00 | This person has performed an invaluable service to the forum and it's members by giving them an avenue by which they can let off some steam. If their posts could be automatically stickied for ease of use it would really save a lot of bother, first cab off the rank, so to speak, then on to business. And the benefit to you Bruce (if you require it) would be that you could show everyone your humanitarian side by locking the threads from time to time. Cheers Murray ;P PS. Perhaps that should be humane |

More like a sacraficial wipping boy, something we could gnaw on yet be abrasive enough to blunt canines ;\ Cheers Murray ;P |

Well actually, I locked a quite a few lately . I got kinda bored with locking them and thought I might ask a question of a poster rahter than just locking the thread . I'm trying to chnage my Nazi ways by being more caring and sharing, but alas it seems I don't have the knack . So instead I'll just have to polish my jackboots . But just for you Murray, I'll lock this one . As for Pillar, I'd find your doe-eyed innocence easier to take if you hadn'ed "started" posting with this follow up to a WTF query of Billy T: >> Why do you insist on tracking down peoples real names and using them (as usual) in such a way as to sound condescending? >That's a good point . Actually, it wasn't a good point . Your first post and that's what you decide to say? Then for your second one you hammer someone for daring to start an SP2 thread? Methinks you doth protest too much |
