| 270975 | 2004-09-10 09:03:00 | Sort of off topic I suppose... I'm looking to buy a new mobile phone (probably Vodafone network) Cheaper end of the market. Have looked all around to see what 'deals' there are about in places like, Dick Smiths, Bond&Bond, Heathcotes, Harvey Norman's etc etc. What I notice is that prices tend to be the same everywhere, give or take 20 bucks (if they're cheaper it's usually because they come with no SIM card). Anyway - seems like buying mobile phones is like buying petrol in terms of price competition (or lack of). I'm wondering whether anyone has come across any online retailers flogging new phones at a considerably cheaper price than the mainstream retailers. |
