I have a spare keyboard which i was about to let her borrow but something seems strange with the keyboard it has a fat round plug. The keyboard im currently using and the ones that are used right now are round but twice as smaller in size .Her hp keyboard is not a usb type plug.just a normal standard plugs. |

| 271184 | 2004-09-18 06:00:00 | Did the keyboard lights flash when booting? Sometimes you need to shutdown fully, wait 10 seconds then start again to get the new keyboard picked up. Apart from that, surely it should have stopped at the early boot stage with "no keyboard" shown? If the keyboard was found by bios it should have said "legacy keyboard enabled" or something similar. Very strange that it would boot fully without a keyboard, but then my experience does not extend to the latest motherboards. Cheers Billy 8-{) |
