271090 2004-09-10 13:38:00 Pretty nifty Elephant. You just need some caster wheels on the case now so that you can really be mobile with it :D Jen C (20)

I am mobile. Handle on system unit. Pickup in one hand. Monitor is a 15" LCD. Keyboard and mouse wireless.

Can pick up the whole deal in one trip to the car. This without Printer and speakers.

Must admit I still want a laptop.

271096 2004-09-10 13:51:00 Laptops are good - if you disable the fan, they will slowly toast sandwiches, and put key-shaped indents in the sandwich as a bonus. The extra battery pack helps here, but any rain slows the cooking a bit. R2x1 (4628)

You can ask.

It was the look that caught my attention and the carry handle that caused me to buy it. I happened to be in Kaikohe and saw the case in a shop window already fitted with M/B.

Went into the shop and asked for a case minus power supply.
Price if you need to know for the case ( no P/S) was $80 inluding freight.

How about if I buy two laptops and disable all fans on both. Then two slices of bread and a filling of my choice. We won't go into fillings here. :-)
Place the first disabled laptop under my verandah to protect from any sudden precipitation and put first slice of bread on top (butter side up) insert filling and put second slice of bread (butter side down). Place second disabled fan type laptop on second slice of bread. Turn on laptops!!! Will the laptops last long enough to make a toasted sandwich?

I doubt it!!! Don't want fried processor for filling either. A little crunchy I would think.

A good point.

Umm. Not in the case. Optional extra if fitted. :-)
