270918 2004-09-10 06:39:00 When burning my digital pictures to disc nero always changes the order of my pictures. That is to say it puts them in alphabetical and numerical order which is not wanted.

I have tried renameing them with new numbers that doesn't work either.
It sorts them back to lists like picky [1] the next is picky [10] and the next is
picky [100] etc. also not wanted.

How do I stop nero changing order of my picky's

Thanks.

270919 2004-09-10 06:53:00 Change your numbering so that it's:

001
002
..
010
011
012, etc.

Windows sorts files alphanumerically, not numerically. That's why you get 1, 10, 11, etc.

Is there a way of still keeping order with the original picture names.

270921 2004-09-10 07:58:00 Use IrfanView to do a batch rename :-) Chilling_Silence (9)
270922 2004-09-10 08:29:00 Set Name To Time (storcksoftware.com) is a handy little batch renaming programme which gets around windows file naming coneventions and allow customised renaming in your order.

It looks Like it has gone to a 30 day trial scheme from the freeware version I have. Anyway, it's there if you want it.
