271360 2004-09-11 21:50:00 Here's another problem. Either when I log on or when I try to jump to another webpage I find myself being taken to a webpage called Incredifind.com, yet another rude company. How do I stop it? Brother Dragonbreath (6144)

271364 2004-09-12 00:09:00 I can't add anymore to what's been said except to say what a brilliant bit of help. Can't gp wrong.

And yes do the decent thing and let these helpful people know what happened. :)

271365 2004-09-12 03:58:00 For that particular website, they offer a removal tool on their website which is probably the best way of uninstalling it.

Look for the Remove link at the very bottom of the page (http://www.incredifind.com/).

You can also read their privacy policies to see what sort of information they have been gathering from you.

271366 2004-09-12 09:15:00 Thanks to all of you for your help. FAQ#16 was great though I had trouble with AdAware SE failing to run(it would cause a reboot) but I was able to fix that by running SpyBot SE first(?!). I'm also very uncertain about how to configure these programs but I guess I'll learn from practice. This webpage is priceless and I'm very grateful to all of you. Brother Dragonbreath (6144)
