| 271380 | 2004-09-13 00:50:00 | Have never used Ghost though I have it as well; drive image 2002 is so easy to use and never fails me you can do a restore from windows or from 2 floppies that use dos , pays to partition your HDD and save a compressed image onto the D: one even better is to save it to another HDD or dvd-rw etc |

| 271382 | 2004-09-13 21:46:00 | 'backups under Windows will not in fact backup a whole hard drive. All files which are being used by Windows at the time of the backup will not be backed up for example'..............UMMMMMMMMMMMMMm...........el ephant......and others I was readin about the next version of Ghost it's runnalbe from within a runnin windoze apparently and had some other good features. Elephant when you image with ghost at high compression you get over a Gb onto a cd, however I do agree with your method. I do that also its very quick with good pc :).......in fact before i do any SERIOUS stuff to someones pc I will quite often do a quick image takes about 10-15 mins. | drcspy (146) | ||
