| 271513 | 2004-09-12 02:38:00 | Hi guys, anyone share any light on this. everything else works fine, shuts down normally, nothing in logs. Just whenever you want to log off, you click log off, but it restarts on you? |

| 271514 | 2004-09-12 03:33:00 | It could be doing the old BlueScreenOfDeath , but with XP Microsoft have hidden it be telling the system to do a restart instead. To stop this and gain some info from the codes on where to look for the cause, go .. Right-click "My Computer" Choose properties Advanced Settings button (under the heading "Startup and recovery" Untick the box " Automatically restart" If the BSOD comes up, just note what the details are and you can post back in this thread. Just had another thought, check your PC for Spyware using Adaware and Spybot search&destroy. The Spyware can also cause this problem. |

| 271515 | 2004-09-13 01:28:00 | don't think its spyware, cause I just reimaged it, (the image could have the problem) but the computer was never connected to the net prior to being imaged. will try the above and post back |
