SP2 is officially released, and a SP2 CD is out. The computer is updated again (maybe fixing those beta glitches) with the SP2 CD from PC World. Second Computer: Windows XP SP1 version is installed. SP2 is officially released, and a SP2 CD is out. The computer is updated with the SP2 CD from PC World. Because of the SP2 CD from PC World or Microsoft Update, does that mean both computers, regardless of beta or sp1 or no sp, they become SP2 all the same? Geez, it is complicated right? | 271786 | 2004-09-13 02:37:00 | Yup whether u have normal XP a beta or SP1, if u install SP2 then its SP2 on BOTH. SP2 will overwrite whats on the beta Right mouse on My Computer/General. If it says SP2 then its SP2. |
