| 271635 | 2004-09-12 11:25:00 | I registered with gmail a couple of weeks ago and today I finally got around to having a look at it. And guess what!! When I opened it there were 3 spam messages. How did this happen? Nobody except gmail themselves knows my email address. :o ?:| If this continues, I'll revert to yahoo.co.nz which has an excellent spam catcher. I get none in my inbox these days. Even Nigerian bankers with $$$ to give away are dead meat. Though I always check the bulk mail folder because the spam catcher picks up a genuine message from time to time, especially if the sender uses a silly subject. |

Just as there are random number generators, and password security checkers, so there are @mail address generators. so I generally have stupid looking ones. I havent had any spam at my Gmail, Maybe wait and see. |

The team from GMail just called, they are upset at the prospect of not being able to provide you with a FREE service . They've arranged for a trip to Google headquarters where you will be given a personalised tour of their facilities and free Google souvenirs . It's free, it's going to be fallible, e-mail sucks . Get a helmet . You might not like using public toilets because they are sometimes dirty, think the council is going to care? It's a free service, be thankful they're providing it at all . |
