| 271940 | 2004-09-13 07:49:00 | USB requires a special cable and software. Using ordinary cables can destroy both computers (interconnects the power supplies - ouch) "Ports"? Serial is possible with the right cable but slow, very slow. Parallel also possible with a special cable, but quite slow. Networking would be best with a cross-over cable but may require a card in each PC if they dont have a network port. Probably the cheapest option though. Apart from temporarily swapping over the hard drive, or using a borrowed USB key drive... |
