| 271580 | 2004-09-12 07:59:00 | Hi I was installing cricket 2004 during installtion at 98% setup stopped and window poped up saying componnent transferr error Component - sound File Group -Sound File group - g:\data2.cap error: data error (cyclic reduncy check) and after that sound didnt work at all im using directx9b. plze help |

| 271583 | 2004-09-12 11:51:00 | do you mean the sound dosn't work in the game but the sounds works ok in windows ?? from what you have posted it looks like you have a scratch/dirt/fault on the disk, hence it didn't copy data2.cap which i would guess is the games sound file. try copying the cd to the hardrive then install it from there. don't forget to clean the cd first. |

| 271585 | 2004-09-12 20:46:00 | If u have 98/2000/xp try windowsupdate and do a search. See if the drivers pop up there. Or if u have the CD for the drivers chuck it in. Or go to the site of the maker of the mobo and download the drivers and reinstall. Delete the sound from Device manager after you download the drivers. |
