| 272262 | 2004-09-14 09:08:00 | Firstly, i bought a 2nd hand motherboard off trademe that was sold as *new* but it didnt include the driver cd etc. i am trying to follow that up, but with little success, will this matter? i have a ga-8ipe1000 pro 2, i have all the chipset drivers etc from the internet, but none of the other gigabyte utitlies, is there anyway to easily get these? secondly, im buying dual channel DDR ram, does this have to be actual dual channel (certified or what not), or can i run any 2 identical chips in the one colour, but different slot pairs? (im not to sure how to explain it :p ) |

You'll have to download the manual if u have none, to find out which slots the memory has to go into, in order for dual channel to work. |
