| 272266 | 2004-09-14 07:56:00 | Hello my helpful friends. Now I have got going with my 'openoffice' software I now want some character icon for each new article with in the newsletter. I have tries searching the net but have been hit by a dialer virus (Which I cleverly removed) I did manage to catch a few cute cartoon icons that were very suitable Walt Disney type but not sure if that was the virus site. Any ideas guys? regards |

| 272267 | 2004-09-14 08:05:00 | Remember that most such images will probably be copyright. Unless they have a statement saying that they are public domain, they are not free for use basically. While getting caught will probably be only a very remote possibility, you need to consider the legal aspect. I have been through the exercise of getting permission to use images from websites. Its very painful. And slow. |
