| 272193 | 2004-09-14 03:04:00 | lately I installed nsw 2004 and the computer happenened to stuff up.After restarting the computer windows 98se revert back to a previous registry. Everytime I try to run nokia pc suite the computer would say that files are corrupted and I would need to reinstall the program. No problems then!! But.. I tried uninstalling the program from the add/remove program in control panel.Clicking pc suite from the add/remove list opened the setup file and after waiting for about 20 seconds it said the nokia pc suite was completely removed and I would need to restart the computer. After restarting the computer. The program wasn't uninstalled and nokia connection manager was still in the system tray. I tried removing the program again from add/remove program and the same thing happened. It said it was removed but after restarting the computer nokia connection manager would still appear in the system tray and the bits and pieces of nokia are still in my hardrive I manually deleted the program myself from the directory and run a full scan of norton win doctor 2004 to try and fixed the problem.Norton didn't fix the problem. I deleted all the files but Nokia phone browser appears when I open windows explorer.Nokia phone browser displays underneath all my hardrive icons from the left of windows explorer I dunno how to remove it When I run the nokia 6230 software cd to reinstall the program I come up with this error Error applying transforms.Verify that the specified paths are valid.C:\windows\temp\_is818412057.Mst I went to the directory according to the error and i deleted that file. However everytime i try to reinstall the software it would still show the same error and the file automatically recreates itself Does anybody know how to fix this problem? |
