| 272142 | 2004-09-14 00:57:00 | Hey guys, I've got the lend of a Panasonic NV-GS120GN (digital video camera) for a few weeks. I would like to be able to use it as a webcam while ive got it, but for some reason it wont work with MSN Messenger 6.2, Win XP pro. It works fine with movie maker, eyeballchat, and Windows Messenger. On windows messenger, if displays what the camera is viewing, but in MSN, it just shows a black screen. All the drivers are installed. This thing has really got me puzzled! Any help will be much appreciated! Thanks, Luke |

| 272143 | 2004-09-14 02:11:00 | Is it USB 2 or firewire?? It most probably works with Moviemaker, coz it picks it up as a digital video cam. Most USB video cams I think are for streaming as in a webcam I spose. And firewire cams are usually for video / video editing. And most probably weren't mean for things like video conferencing. |

| 272144 | 2004-09-14 04:24:00 | Its a USB 2.0! In the Video and Audio Tuning Wizard on MSN messenger, it picks up the camera, and streams like it should, but when I go to use it, just a black screen. |

| 272150 | 2004-09-14 10:43:00 | Do any errors appear in MSN? Are you running any firewalls? In Options/connections in MSN anything ticked?? I just noticed the same thing here in MSN. It goes black, BUT if u quit MSN unplug the cam, plug the cam back in, then re-run MSN the cam works. |
