| 272133 | 2004-09-14 03:48:00 | I'm saying that 1] I don't have any control over ad code. 2] ads are booked across an entire site using the DoubleClick ad trafficing service. The ads shown here will be the same as one shown on a whole range of sites (not just ours). They do get checked, I understand, but that's no guarantee than any specific problem will get found. For example, this problem only shows up when you've got an input form on a page. Same way software gets beta tested but still ends up with flaws. People are fallible you know. 3] I've raised the issue with the people responsible here for putting the ads up but from my own experience, by the time you've convinced someone at the agency that they've got a bug in their code and got them to find it and got them to fix it and got them to reload the fixed ad into the system ...... well, the 5 days are probably going to be up anyhow. But the issue has been raised with those responsible. |
