272119 2004-09-13 22:55:00 I block all adds, it doesnt happen all the time, but when it does, it seems the last thing I did was press the space bar Rob99 (151)
272120 2004-09-13 22:59:00 Bruce,

Its been doing it and simular fliking things for weeks in IE 5.5 to. if I turn pictures on it almost stops, I block adds to,

I put it down to pictures, because if you open the page and turn off pictures it will not load the next page, you must leave and return to load the next page, with the new setting works both ways.

272121 2004-09-13 23:08:00 I'm pretty sure its related to that Xtra ad. I showed the guy who traffics the ads and it was happening just in the login screen. Hit refresh, a different ad showed up and the cursor returned to normal. The ad is Flash.

It's interesting that it might be happening to some of you when you've blocked ads, since I would have assumed ad blocking would have stopped the code coming down.

272123 2004-09-13 23:14:00 Interestingly enough if you block pictures most of the time but happen to pick up the green xtra girl, when you turn off pictures again and come back so does she, the first time I thought I had forgotten, I checked pictures off girl on ? drb1 (4492)
272124 2004-09-13 23:16:00 i wouldn't be to suprised if it was xtras flash ads. i've had a few problems with flash ads crashing IE and one of the culprits is xtras web site. tweak'e (174)
272125 2004-09-13 23:17:00 I have all Flash Animations blocked until I click the Play button...
Ads are gone...
Cursor is still a pretty blue... But yes - Even in Yoper it seems to be flickering?! So its PressF1 thats doing it? I just thought it was a buggy cursor?!

272126 2004-09-13 23:24:00 Well, I've got ads on and I've seen no problems with display or cursor until this ad. I get no issues when other ads show. Biggles (121)

Except of course the slow loading/reloading of mediaonenetwork and imrworldwide although, it's ok in Win with Firefox and using * on those servers, something I prefer not to have to do on sites I support .

Chill, I haven't found a similar function with Mozilla in Linux? might look to Guard Dog .
