272640 2004-09-15 09:48:00 I’m using Windows Picture and Fax Viewer for a simple slide show. Can the on-the-screen dwell time of the slides be altered? I find the standard time between slides too short.

272641 2004-09-15 22:24:00 The only way seems to be a registry tweake, which you can do with Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP ( . microsoft . com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys . mspx" target="_blank">www . microsoft . com) - download TweakUI . exe - 147 KB .

Once you have installed that, you will find Power Tools for XP > TweakUI under the Start Menu . Open it up and expand the Explorer section . Click on slide show and change the number there . Every 1000 is equal to 1 second .

You can do lots of nifty things with TweakUI . :)
