| 272621 | 2004-09-15 06:36:00 | Everytime when running Spybot 1.3, it detects that my DAP 5.3 has about 7 -8 spyware items, but everytime it fails to remove them; saying that the program maybe still running or in the memory (sort of). It also requests to restart Windows and starts scanning immediately after Windows fires up (or even before Windows is fully started up). But, again it detects the problem but still couldn't remove them. Have tried to perform the scanning in SAFE Mode but having the same results. Adaware, however, doesn't detect anything. |

| 272627 | 2004-09-15 10:47:00 | unless something has changed in the latest few versions, its debateable wether dap is spyware or not. its ad supported and at worse it may send back some info. its not known to be an evil program (ie it dosn't hijack anything or display popups all the time). personally i wouldn't worry about it and if you do just get another download manager. |

| 272629 | 2004-09-16 11:48:00 | Hi Patrick 2003, I use GetRight download manager. Seems to work well. Now that I've become totally paranoid are there any 'hangers-on' with GetRight? Mike S |
