Does the GSm Mhz mean anything?I hear gsm 1900,900mhz 1800mhz etc.What are the difference and what is vodafone nz using?Is there a site that tells which service provider around is using what? |

Vodafone New Zealand is primarily 900MHz, although I seem to recall them erecting a few 1800MHz sites here and there.
900/1800 MHz is used widely in Europe and Asia, while 850/1900MHz is used widely in North America. |

By the way, www.gsmworld.com is a good way to find out which networks are available and on what frequencies. |
