| 273217 | 2004-09-17 09:49:00 | isnt this all part of the new plans coming about in a couple of weeks? I think the caps only apply to certain ISPs. Go with Orcon and you'll get 256k/128k uncapped. |

I just signed a 6 month contract on ADSL with Orcon (who were advertising this new offer and the upgrade to 256k)). Does this mean I can ditch the contract and run off to wireless? Will have to see. I can't believe this 'technical glitch'. All a load of cobblers. I think there's something a bit more sinister behind this move, but then maybe I've just grown to become sceptical of telecom. Either that or Telecom really are just inept. |

They are as yet not limiting speeds on the surf plans as they haven't been able to link the billing system with the rate limiting setup so it reverts at the end of the month etc. Completely unrelated to the above drama. |
