273470 2004-09-18 07:26:00 I don't really know anything about computers but have broadband and a webcam, the webcam will not work because there is not enough bandwidth how do I get more bandwidth doublestraw2004 (6171)
273471 2004-09-18 07:39:00 Whats telling u theres not enough bandwidth?

If u want more bandwidth, you'll have to get a faster/better connection than what u have now. And most probably pay more to get it.

What are you on now? 128k/256/512 connection?

And whats your system?? speed? ram etc?

273472 2004-09-18 07:44:00 Oops I think its telling u the bandwidth of the USB device you have, NOT the bandwidth as in broadband. What else r u running as in USB devices?? I take it its a USB cam you're trying to get to work??

What program are u using for the cam?? It sounds like you've got a low power supply, or you have a lot of USB devices, and there's no power to run what usb devices you have plugged in. Including the cam.

Also, do you have a powered USB hub??
