| 273490 | 2004-09-20 22:24:00 | Hi johnboy, sorry about the delay here, I installed and ran both programs, alas to no avail ! Incidentally I also did a system restore well past the initial problem date and the icons still remained, maybe re-installing Nero might help, will try that, but amymore suggestions would be welcomed... Thanks Linz. |

| 273492 | 2004-09-20 23:48:00 | You can try reinstalling Nero and as suggested above see if you can burn them with nero then hopefully it will delete them. Use the find in registry feature in Regseeker to see if that comes up with any thing. Also try this right click on the desktop click properties then desktop then click customize desktop then click clean desktop now. hth |

| 273493 | 2004-09-21 04:37:00 | Tried burning a copy...very successful burn, but they're still there ! Interesting to note, when gathering the quick finder information files for the burn, there appears to be copies of copies ie: a helluva lot of 'em ! The only thing I ever do is delete them into the recycle bin so I'm stuffed if I know where the copies come from...its like a program is generating them...Could this be the start of Aliens taking over the Planet ! (joking) By the way ME doesnt have a clean desktop option... And Reg Seeker couldnt find anything on "Quick Finder Information Files" ????????? Linz. |
