| 273611 | 2004-09-18 21:02:00 | Computer running ME with IE5. Has megabytes in Contents IE5 folders and a couple of viruses, and doing a scan with AVG Anti-virus takes hours, and shorten the scanning time for anti-virus and Adaware. I need to delete the contents to get rid of the viruses. I recall there is a way in DOS but I haven't been able to put the right path in to get to the folders. I've also remembered that ME has system restore so would need to turn this off before I delete? Your help would be appreciated. Thank you. Pam |
