Your internet provider has a pool of addresses, for example: 222.152.55.0 - 222.152.58.255 They will automatically give you a free IP address within this pool every time you connect, and then nobody else will be able to use it. Its not really the ip address thats the prob, its where u r (NZ). And how many ppl from NZ have been there before (most probably on the same day). |

| 273785 | 2004-09-19 07:58:00 | Most IP addresses in NZ are "dynamic". They change everytime you connect to the web (in the case of dial-up) and they change every few days (ADSL). The ISP has a pool of addresses that are allocated to the users. So prior to the event, someone else could have had the IP address. There is nothing you can do about it. |
