| 274585 | 2004-09-22 04:58:00 | A dual boot machine - XP Pro SP2 (English) and XP Pro SP1 (Chinese). When running the Chinese ver, it could connect to about 48-52 kbps but when running the English ver, it could only connect to 33 kbps! Hardware is the same with exactly the same drivers loaded from the same CD but producing quite different results. What could be the reason, SP1 is better than SP2? Or, .... Cheers |

Not sure whether it is v92 or not . Exactly the same hardware, same driver but giving different outputs . The English and Chinese XP os should be the same other than that one is SP1 and the other is SP2 . |

| 274588 | 2004-09-22 06:41:00 | yes The reason I asked about v92 is sp2 may have upgraded your protocol from v90 to v92 standard, a remote possiblity but still a possibilty therefore the Chinese version may still be using the v90 standard protocol | beama (111) | ||
