| 274285 | 2004-09-21 03:30:00 | i am trying to install SP2 on a computer and when installing it says intilation did not compleat then yuo click ok and it quits. the computer i am trying to install it on has not been able to receve updates from windows update for a few mounths ( they say instelation did not compleate to) i have run spybot it found nothing AVG found nothing ether , adaware found nothing on smart scan but froze on a full scan. the computer is runing windows xp hame edetin SP1 | sam_baird2003 (5464) | ||

| 274288 | 2004-09-21 04:43:00 | Off the top of my head, it sounds as if there was an update which didn't install properly. I would uninstall all updates via the control panel, and reinstall them through the Windowsupdate site. Lo. |

| 274290 | 2004-09-23 02:17:00 | I rung microsoft and after two days on the phone to them they told me to refress my os my sound card no longer works sinse windows update dont work no driver from there and i cant find the driver any were else my sound card is a Avance AC97 Audio on a L4s5mg/651+ mother bord and pccompany died so i have no warenty thanks microsoft for all your help |
