1370659 2014-03-19 06:24:00 Laptop and Notebook are the same thing, full sized laptops.
Netbook is a small one usually with a 10" screen.

Chromebook is a laptop that runs the Chrome OS which is a cloud based system.

So, I can install whatever on it. And once something is installed, I can update it through the wireless here

It should also be noted that Netbooks, although smaller than laptops, still have the full desktop version of Windows running on them which is not actually ideal for performance.

And when we refer to the "Cloud", in the case of Google and Chrome, we are meaning a server farm that Google owns and runs in California that is running your Google docs and all that as opposed to having the OS and software program's actually residing on the laptop in front of you.

Which one are you considering getting?

1370664 2014-03-19 21:55:00 Netbooks usually have a far lower spec CPU , so will often run slower than a good full sized 15" laptop (not all though) 1101 (13337)

Just curiosity really, with a hefty lump of wishful thinking. Current Toshiba is still working well. PJ
