1370617 2014-03-19 01:26:00 The title above describes my blue screen episode (twice now).

Some idea on how to fix this would be great.

In advance, thanks. The computer is an Acer All in One 64 bit.

No, no new equipment installed. About 6 odd weeks ago I tried to install an upgrade to my video card - but it not install. Other than that nothing else.

Where would I go to from here ?

1370621 2014-03-19 02:02:00 Put teamviewer on it if you want. Give me the ID and pw it gives you in a PM

Then I'll see what bluescreenview says. And see whats installed. Thats if you havent used ccleaner, which will delete the dmp files

Some driver files etc left over from an incomplete install could well be the problem

1370623 2014-03-19 05:45:00 This Stop error typically occurs during events that involve power state transitions, such as shutting down, suspending, or resuming from sleep.

In most cases the DRIVER POWER STATE FAILURE error can be solved by updating the drivers for the device causing the error.

So check power management, especially on extra devices - USB and so on.

Gidday Speedy, we meet again :-) No, no Symantec programs at all. It does seem to happen if I leave the computer going while I do something else. When
returning to the computer, twice now it is displaying the blue screen. A reboot fixes it. Going to leave this machine going, while I do other things and see what happens.

Will report back !

1370625 2014-03-19 20:46:00 Sounds like its crashing when you "wake it up". After, it comes out of sleep mode Speedy Gonzales (78)
1370626 2014-03-19 21:19:00 It bet its just Riddled with all sorts of Acer Bloatware/crapware . That might be part of the issue.

Or perhaps a driver update via Windows Update : they can often cause all sorts of issues .
Try a system restore to a date before these issues stared, then set Winupdates to notify only .
