| 1353264 | 2013-09-11 08:02:00 | Hi everyone, I am an honours student at Victoria University of Wellington, my dissertation topic is on consumer adoption of augmented reality. Given the newness of this field from an academic perspective this research is highly exploratory and I would really appreciate if everyone could give up 15 minutes or so to completing this survey - vuw.qualtrics.com There is also a chance to win one of three NZD$50 Visa Prezzy Cards I apologise if this is in the wrong place or not allowed I just really need the help! :thanks Many thanks, René |

| 1353268 | 2013-09-11 09:15:00 | Speaking of prezzy cards, what happened to the other guy who had a questionnaire? I'm with you ... a little more transparency is needed :ban I'd like to help; I have done so until now. Although I have responded to previous requests without need or expectation of reward, the question has to be asked are these responses on the level? |

Of course, us "31+ers" who have been working in IT for the last 20+ years are almost definitely tech-averse, aren't we? And so we wouldn't go near new technology with a barge pole! Not!!!! :D |

Thank you all so much for helping! I apologise that some of the questions get a little grey, as far as academic research goes nothing has been done here before so it's highly exploratory, meaning there is no real idea about what does and doesn't work! |

Not!!!! :D Oh and the reasoning behind this is twofold. 1) The original sample was targeted more towards university students, but the decision was made to broaden this 'on-the-go' to add extra value and get a second highly valuable perspective on the topic. 2) Literature suggests a gap between 'digital natives' and 'digital immigrants', therefore the age questions is mostly about defining where people fall within those categories. I hope this helps! Thanks so much, René |

Thanks so much, René Bearing in mind that you're asking questions about new tech on a computer forum where many contributors are in the industry or have a passion for the subject, you realise that your dataset may be a tad skewed in favour of the new tech? |
