1352895 2013-09-06 22:19:00 Anyone had a try of Google Glass? One of the family has a set and we are just having a try - very impressive. Even gave a demo to a tech guy called Chris! stuffed (1469)
1352896 2013-09-07 08:17:00 What? In NZ? How'd he get one? :O Chilling_Silence (9)
1352897 2013-09-07 10:11:00 Expect trouble with them - wouldn't be the first time googles been accused of spying.

1352898 2013-09-07 20:45:00 The speech commands work very well - for example "Glass text Katherine", "Glass take a photo", "Glass take a video".
Will reserve judgment on if they become mainstream but certainly quirky.
Eldest son is CEO of an international entity and one of think his US staff won a ballot to purchase a pair and so the company brought them as a novelty!

1352903 2013-09-08 13:11:00 Yeah I've been following Trey on G+. Definitely jealous of the Glass, as well as his photography skills....

Personally think the privacy and "dorky factor" are a complete non-issue.
