1352784 2013-09-05 02:29:00 In case I get any hate messages, I was raised in a Jewish neighborhood and attended prevalently Jewish schools. The schools were known for giving a good education, but lousy at sports events.

From the BBC News "Does pressing the pedestrian crossing button actually do anything?"

www.bbc.co.uk

"Orthodox Jews are not allowed to operate electronic machinery on the Sabbath.

From sundown on Friday to sundown on Saturday the pedestrian crossing operates on an automated programme rather than via pressing the button."

Here's an interesting article called "Why Being an Orthodox Jew Is Expensive?", which talks about separate kitchen appliances for dairy and meat: two ovens, two sinks, two dishwashers.

Does it actually say that in the bible? Or, is it a bit like "The principles of the treaty of Waitangi":clap

1352786 2013-09-05 08:16:00 ^ Rofl. Some of these invisible friends have weirder rules than the Masons on St Patrick's night.
Would that mean they have to disconnect the ABS if they wish to use the brakes?
