1352362 2013-08-29 12:10:00 I'm about to bin a swag of old 3/14 inch floppy discs. Some have programmes some have windows Op Sys (way back) some even have DOS stuff.
I realise they're NBG to man or beast but if anybody has an interest in them be quick - they'll be in the rubbish collection next week.
Cheers

1352363 2013-08-30 01:38:00 Three-fourteenths of an inch is quite a small disk :P

I recently binned a bunch of MS-DOS 5.0 upgrade floppies, hah, that was fun.

MS DOS 5.0 - real modern stuff. Some of mine are MS-Dos 3.0 and 3.1.
Sorry about the disc size - should read 3 1/4" - got rid of the 5" ones a few years ago
Still won't take up much space in the rubbish bin

1352365 2013-08-30 05:44:00 A PC given to us has a working floppy drive :D
Haven't binned our floppies yet. Still have a packet of SKC 5.25" bank discs that haven't been opened.

My old laptop still works but some keys are missing and a broken LCD, the dock has a working floppy drive too. You can hook a exernal key/mouse and screen and it gets online etc... ;) eDay has dissapeared.
