I didn't except it to actually come to anything, being rumours and all. :p

1352609 2013-09-04 00:12:00 Sad news really.
Hate to see Nokia 10 years time being gobbled up by Microsoft. Who would've expected that?
Nokia such a great company, Used to use their mobiles from 2004-2010. I still admire the company thats why I went and got a Lumia 920 for work purpose but the phone is only useful for making calls and nothing else and now this... sad. just.... SAD!!

x2

My first phone in 1988 was a Nokia brick, and I currently have a Lumia 800. Running WP7.5, it suits me down to the ground as it's seamlessly compatible with with most of the Windows programs I use anyway.

1352612 2013-09-04 04:10:00 They've retained all the patents and only licenced them to MS so Nokia may be up to something still, whether it's selling those off or litigating to make money from other manufacturers. Seems thats standard practice these days. dugimodo (138)

Met the guy that organised MS buying Skype - he gave a huge sigh of relief to get rid of it.

1352614 2013-09-06 08:47:00 I've never seen a phone with a Blue Screen error, or one that needs a few minutes each day to reboot, but with MS at the helm this would seem to be a credible future for us.

And then there's the enforced downloads of the MS browser... version 5012, 5013, 5014 whether you want it or not.

90% of android phones never get an official update released for them. And chill, the 520 is a mighty phone for $250. Beats the crap out of the 3 name brand android phones in the house.
