2013-09-04 22:11:00 | www.trademe.co.nz Anyone in the know with fridges? :p Looks pretty good, but I have no idea what we'd expect to pay to sort out the dodgy seals. Thanks. :nerd:

2013-09-04 22:29:00 | +/- $250 to have it done proffessionaly. A lot less if you buy the seals and fit them yourself. | Greg (193) | |

I, infact, have the leading bid on that right now. How much would you pay for that, considering it is local. Thanks. |

2013-09-05 06:17:00 | How much would you pay for that, considering it is local. Well considering that I was happy to sell a fridge recently for just $175 I think you're paying way too much.

2013-09-05 06:54:00 | Hmmm........ Cost me $80 (more or less) delivered for seals for our F&P fridge/freezer. Installation is a doddle, they are press-fit. I replaced our oven door seals recently as well, against the advice of the Service Co that sold them to me (good guys though). I made two simple and durable plastic tools which took just 10 minutes to fabricate out of two plastic builders wedges, then did the whole job in 20. I made another set of tools and donated them to the service company along with instructions for use and a challenge to beat my time. I never heard back, but they are mad if they don't use them, it was really simple! Cheers Billy 8-{)
