| 275059 | 2004-09-24 08:33:00 | it doesn't support harddrives which is a bit of bummer but no great loss (no communism *cough* i mean linux for pstwo then) But this brings up some very cool possibilities like the portable psone: www.benheck.com Plus it could easily be integrated into a car for some incar action (although top-loading could be fun. I look forward to seeing it, i suspect it should be quite successful. - David |

| 275064 | 2004-09-24 11:18:00 | Depends how you look at it i spose,the local video store as at least 5 times as many Ps2 games as they do Xbox games, 99 percent of people don't chip Poxbox so that can't really be taken into consideration, and if your into graphics.....then consoles should be ignored fullstop. So the winner is PS2. And i don't think you can even buy a Nintendo system in this part of the country. |

| 275065 | 2004-09-24 11:27:00 | course you can buy a nintendo system, infact its the best of all 3 consoles, (shortest load times equla graphics with the xbox) ps2 is only popular because of sonys mass marketing campaign, if people actually bought consoles based on their merits ps2 would be gone ages ago, (it has the equivilant of a 400mhz celeron wih integrated video, xbox has the equiv of a 700mhz p3 with a ge-force 2-3 hybrid, and gamecube has a 450mhz custom ibm chip with a custom ati gfx solution) whatever way you look at it ps2 loses, and its popularity is the only reason it has more games. i look at the state of console gaming and shake my head in shame |
