| 275048 | 2004-09-24 04:09:00 | :) I thought some of you would be interested in this;_ BladeBox is a virtual hard drive that is protected with 256 bit encryption - encrypted on the fly so you don't know it is happening. It's drive letter is selectable, and accessed like any other drive; until you close the program, then it disappears from Explorer and My Computer. The free version can create 4 virtual drives up to 30MB each, the pay version is unlimited. I find it easy to use; just click the icon, type the password and it is there, close the program and it is gone. It provides a level of security that I have been looking for. I don't have to disguise my password list as 'Recipes' any longer. Vince :) |

| 275049 | 2004-09-24 04:48:00 | 256 bit means nothing. What _type_ of 256-bit encryption? I wouldnt trust anything but AES, or better still - Eliptical Encryption B-) |
