| 275143 | 2004-09-24 06:50:00 | Their flat rate plans reduce the speed to 64kbit/s once you go over the limit, in your case, 10GB. | somebody (208) | ||

| 275145 | 2004-09-24 06:56:00 | I am on Jetstream Go which is 256/128. As i read the release it is saying that my plan stays the same. I thought that sometime soon we would be moving to 512/ something for the same price ? Still in the pipeline or gone by the board ? Or a figment of my imagination ?? Misty :O |

| 275147 | 2004-09-24 07:34:00 | There are only 2 ways to get Telecom's broadband service better and cheaper. 1 Dont sign up to it so that they will be forced to drop to reasonable deals to get the 250,000 users they promised the govt. 2 That the govenrment buys Teleocm back and then splits it into an infrastructure backbone copper wire company that just builds the network, and then sell of the rest to any bidders. Then the infrastructure company must keep the latest technology installed and wholesale it at prices just high enough to break even each year. Then it must allow any other company to connect to it and offer whatever services they like. |

| 275148 | 2004-09-24 08:29:00 | I think i'll stick to Orcons new plan, i mean its $50 and with 10gb or something for 256k - this is all i need in reality. I'm not willing to pay $70 a month even if it is for 2mb access, and none of the plans really suit my needs (5gb would be my average per month) They should have a plan for $60 with 2m with 5gb cap, that would be perfect for me, athough you can't get everything! Although once more ISP's start offering it there might be some changes making competition that much more interesting. - David |
