275992 2004-09-27 05:05:00 Hey all,

I've got a very old pc (1986) which is used for EPROM programming, that has stopped booting up. Details are as follows:

turn on.

screen displays:
Phoenix ROM BIOS v2.51.

(counts up to)640k

then it hangs and finally displays:

Bad or missing command interpreter.

any clues?

275994 2004-09-27 05:29:00 I have a MS-DOS disk labelled "Program Disk" but cannot read the description on it. There doesnt appear to be a back up disc. stevo800 (6200)
275995 2004-09-27 05:32:00 Am I right to assume that this PC does not have a hard drive? Do you only have one copy of :Program Disk" and do you use that to beeot the PC? POTUS (5276)
