275841 2004-09-26 05:50:00 did you disable the onboard audio?? If it had built in audio?

Whats in say under device manager?? Any X's or ? or other.

I take it USB is enabled in the BIOS so USB works??

And does the sound work with anything else BUT the tuner?? It is a tuner isnt it?? Which one? Deluxe or Expert?. And which drivers did you install for the tuner?? Is that PC HT enabled?? (if its a 800 fsb mobo) and 800 fsb CPU?? And are your drivers for the tuner the most recent??

275843 2004-09-26 07:14:00 OK. Which tuner have you got stuffed the Expert or Deluxe?? As the Expert connects to the sound internally to a spare audio connector, and the Deluxe u connect thru the cord that came with the tuner to audio in on the USB soundcard if it has one. All the soundcard does with the tuner is give it sound, Nothing else.

Have u done this??

275845 2004-09-26 22:14:00 U sure this is a tuner?? According to the leadtek site, the only thing thats A180 is a Geforce4 A180 videocard. NOT tuner. It does have TV out, BUT definitely isnt a TV tuner. If thats what u think it is. Spacemannz (808)
275846 2004-09-26 23:24:00 Never said it was a tuner - use it to record video from Sky via Video In and it is the Audio have been having problems with.
Thanks

275847 2004-09-26 23:34:00 Thats what PVR usually means. It usually means its a tuner, with recording capabilities. Thats why I thought it was a tuner.

So, what are you using if it isnt a tuner, to record Sky with other than the videocard?? Did the videocard come with a program thats meant to record from video /audio in??

275848 2004-09-26 23:53:00 It has S Video and Video In and Out - the audio is connected through the Line In - have a direct lead from the Sky box stuffed (1469)
