276484 2004-09-28 09:15:00 Doesnt the predator see mamals that radiate heat so Arnie was able to cool off his body by covering himself with mud.
So it would mean predator cant see things like insects and presuming alien is a cold blooded creature, predator should not be able to see alien.

am i wrong?

And how do you figure that?

Mike.

276486 2004-09-28 09:27:00 Cold blooded doesn't mean literally "cold blooded". It means this type of creature is exothermic so it acquires it's heat from the environment. It still has warmish blood.

Mammals are endothermic and generate their heat within their bodies.

I watched the first Predator movie and was disappointed. It didn't even approach the genius of the Alien series. And Arnie ain't Sigorney Weaver ;)

276487 2004-09-28 09:29:00 stupid mike... i am ashamed to share the same as my nickname mcorleone (6191)
276488 2004-09-28 09:53:00 predator has multiple vision modes so it can see almost anything. it all depends on how good the camouflage is. tweak'e (174)
276489 2004-09-28 13:04:00 I think/hope you are correct, I walk around covered in mud all the time and have never been discovered by a Predator. Rob99 (151)
276490 2004-09-28 14:15:00 Exothermic yes, but its muscles will still generate heat when contracting. Vince Vince (406)
276491 2004-09-28 15:09:00 It's a B grade movie, what more can we say. Mmmm k? alphazulusixeightniner (185)
276492 2004-09-28 21:53:00 But if predator was invisible, I would have thought the alien couldn't see the predator. andrew93 (249)
276493 2004-09-28 22:09:00 The predator uses a very clever cloaking technique to appear invisible, although he is not actually 100% invisible. With my trained eye I can still spot him. Rob99 (151)
