| 276299 | 2004-09-28 03:19:00 | recently my USB optical mouse keeps reporting thats its being plugged in and out, in winXP it makes that dinging noise... when i check the wires absolutly nothing is wrong and everything is pluged in. this only started happening a few days ago and is happening very randomly, and very often, sometimes not heppeneing for 10min, but more often than not ,happening every 10seconds. |

You can get a Microsoft Optical Wheel mouse for $43.88 or a logitech black optical mouse for $44.44. For that extra $20 you get a quality mouse that is actually comfortable. | Pete O'Neil (250) | ||

Besides which an optical mouse has no mechanical parts so should live at least a little while,my draw full of dead mouses is stocked with many different brands, i just gave up eventually and now use the cheap Excell Optical Mouse,none so far have died on me...Which is ironic... |
