| 276132 | 2004-09-27 12:44:00 | Greetings, Just wondering... Ive got an external 120GB USB2.0 HDD Ive got the first 95 used as a Fat32 partition... The rest is currently un-used. Is it possible to install my 120 day trial of WinXP (Thanks MS) to my USB Drive? Currently my HDD is running Yoper Linux (I know it'll wipe the mbr, but I'll chroot into my install from the Love-LiveCDv2 and rewrite it) and I dont want it to be formatted. Cheers Chill. |

Would you not need some form entry in your boot loader/Bios for the Bootable usb drive when present.? Or have I misread your setup. if yoper is in IDE 1 drive, why would XP on USB wipe IDE MBR? D. |
