| 277204 | 2004-09-30 06:30:00 | Hi, I have a fujifilm S700 camera, and recently installed a USB 2.0 card and have just bought a 2.0 HUB to plug extra devices into it, when i connect the camera to the hub a message pops up telling me that I should connect it to a USB 2.0 device to obtain maximum speed, but I have the right hub and card i thought..... wondering why this might happen? and any way to check your USB speed? Thanks |

I am using windows Xp and computer is Packard Bell with two USB connections at back and two down low in front. I just plug the cord from the camera into one of the USB sockets in the front and away we go. | heaton (3697) | ||

USB host controller present. I believe some boards need a driver update for USB 2.0 to work properly Also some will need it enabled in the BIOS Check your Motherboards site for updated drivers There is also a troubleshooting section @ msoft.com (but I can't seem to find it at the mo') |

| 277210 | 2004-09-30 09:47:00 | Hi, Thanks for the responses The USB connection works fine when I connect the camera directly into the USB card itself, it only comes up with that message when i connect it to the USB hub which is connected to the card... The HUB i bought is suppose to be 2.0 compliant as it states on the packaging.. Seems strange..... any further advise? |
