| 276804 | 2004-09-30 05:52:00 | Do you know if this works for Linux, I'd love to be able to keep my files on my Thumbdrive for all the Knoppix boots etc I do B-) | Chilling_Silence (9) | ||

[jennifer@myth firefox]$ wine PortableFirefox.exe err:dosmem:setup_dos_mem Cannot use first megabyte for DOS address space, please report fixme:win:SetWindowTextA cannot set text "PortableFirefox - Making Firefox Portable" of other process window (nil) fixme:win:SetWindowTextA cannot set text "PortableFirefox - Making Firefox Portable" of other process window (nil) [jennifer@myth firefox]$You get an error message about "Unable to locate profile specified. Are you sure that the INI file correctly lists the profile you wish to use? Y/N". I had a go at hacking the PortableFirefox.ini to point it at the /profile directory (changed it to Linux style of paths), but it was a no goer. Think having to use Wine to launch it adds to the confusion :) |
