| 276766 | 2004-09-29 10:46:00 | Hi, I'm in the process of reinstalling / rebuilding a TMC personal computer with Windows 98 and the PC has a PCI 10/100 network card that I can't find a driver for. Win98 doesn't have a driver for it - I have tried Google & driverguide.com to bad effect. I have removed the card from the PC - for the life of me I can't find a brand name but there are the following identifying marks : GTS FC-515 9945H KTS KDN-2050C 50.000MHz 9944 JP2 MPX EN5038 96099S1 939E When I plug some of the above numbers into Google / driver-guide I'm getting links for drivers etc for half a dozen different brands in half a dozen different languages. I have already taken a "she'll be right" attitude and tried out a couple of drivers that I found at driverguide, but now Win98 is having a major spaz and locking up on me (oops - I guess the ones I tried weren't right!). I have another PCI card in another Win98 PC that I could try (but I'm using it on a home network PC) so before I try that I would appreciate help from anyone that can point me in the right direction for getting the drivers for the network card in the TMC PC. Thanks, Andrew. |
