277479 2004-10-02 06:12:00 Your only option left is to reset the password
I've used this in the past with 100% success

277480 2004-10-02 06:23:00 Well you need to go into User Accounts and see what is there, as by default in Home Edition user account have administrative rights. As far as I can see you need to be logged to a user account, not as Administrator as such.

277486 2004-10-02 07:43:00 Look at item 13 (snakefoot.fateback.com) and have a cruise around the install/repair section for resetting admins and users.

277487 2004-10-02 07:55:00 I wonder if it will work while logged on as guest
I don't have a home edition machine here at the moment to try it out on.
If it does work while logged on as guest it would certainly be an easier way to fix the problem of the Administrator password
