| 277258 | 2004-09-30 23:02:00 | I have been reinstalling windows on an old laptop i have and as a result the machine only starts in safe mode. I have an inkling that it may be the video driver that is the problem yet when i go to the display option in settings, click on advanced to change the driver the button marked "change" is not highlighted. Is there an alternative way of installing my new driver ? |

| 277261 | 2004-10-01 01:50:00 | yeah it does have safe mode in each corner. I tried to find out where the start up process was going wrong by starting it in the boot log mode but that wasn't playing. I guess this means that it could be a multitude of problems. Several months ago the screen started flickering uncontrolby and that was the graphics driver. Maybe 2 and 2 equeals 5 in my world ? |
