277823 2004-10-03 07:18:00 I'm using firefox version 1.0 preview release.
I have two problems I could use some help with.
#1
In the top right hand side an icon has appeared that says critical updates available. When I try to install the update - Data downloading fix all I get is a dialogue box that says now downloading and installing updates but nothing happens. I’ve checked my fire wall traffic logs and nothings being blocked, in fact there’s no data transfer at all

After I've used my routers control panel and closed all browser pages I can start firefox and open the router page through history without having to enter the password. The same applies for webmail even though I selected not to save passwords. Not very good for a shared computer. Are there any settings to change this?

277825 2004-10-03 07:31:00 Assuming your using windows, go to Tools > Preferences > Privacy > Passwords > View Passwords highlight the password you want to remove and click Remove.

277826 2004-10-03 08:15:00 The passwords were never saved.
The problem is I can open the pages again through history after closing the browser down.
IE dosent do this you get a page has expired message or re-enter password.
